The science side of the bowl

That background is the reason Rogue exists in the shape it does. Nate didn't come to pet nutrition as an owner with a sick dog and a hunch. He came to it as someone who had spent years working with animal feed and health, including inside the pet food mills themselves, and who could see exactly how wide the gap was between what a bag claims and what a dog actually absorbs. It was worse than he expected.

Proving it

Plenty of brands say their product works. Nate ran the study.

He led the first Canine Health Biomarker Study, which measured what actually changed in dogs' bloodwork after 30 days on Origins 5-in-1 — not owner impressions, not before-and-after coat photos, but health markers. The data behind it was accepted for oral presentation at the ICP international conference in Prague.

That study is the clearest expression of how he works. Every Rogue formula starts from a proven mechanism and has to survive the question of whether the biology supports the claim. Ingredients that can't justify their place don't get one.

Nate also serves on the Advisory Council for the Master of Biotechnology program at Texas A&M University.
